MEPHISTO

MEPHisto (Modelle, Erklärungen und Prozesse in den historischen Wissenschaften/Models, Explanations and Processes in the historical sciences) is an interdisciplinary working group at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, consisting mainly of computer scientists (focus on AI research) and historians (focus on the Middle Ages). The working group is engaged in digitizing the historical workflow to bridge the "bottleneck" between digitized sources and analog analysis.
